• Workshop on Security and Assurance in Ad-hoc Networks (WSAAN 2003)

  This half day workshop aims at providing a forum for the discussion of security and assurance issues related to ad-hoc networks as components of the Internet. Characteristics of ad hoc networks make them particularly complex to protect and mechanisms designed for networks in general, or even those designed for wireless networks with fixed components are not well suited to the ad-hoc environment. This workshop addresses the issues and solutions for security and assurance that are specific and unique to ad-hoc networks.

  The Int. Workshop on Practice and Theory in Public Key Cryptography (PKC) is the main annual workshop focusing on research on all aspects of public key cryptography.   The main goal of this workshop is to address scientific contributions to understand cyber terrorism and to fight cyber terrorism. Several interesting questions have not been properly addressed from scientific viewpoints such as: methods to identify the most critical infrastructure; methods to detect cyber terrorist attacks; and methods to protect against cyber terrorism.
